A superbly sited Georgian farm house, built on a slight knoll, to take advantage of an elevated position to enjoy views over the estuary to the wooded countryside, and attractive small hamlet of St Winnow beyond. The house is surrounded by its own land of some 45 acres of rolling pasture and arable fields which run down to the waters edge, and there is an attractive tree edged tidal inlet which forms the northern boundary of the property, affording complete quiet and privacy and plenty of safe parking.
This area of south Cornwall is particularly popular for sailing and water sports, both in the pretty tree lined estuaries and in the open seas. Walking along the many lovely coastal footpaths or visiting local National Trust properties and other places of interest. Just sitting in the sun with a glass of wine or a pot of tea or coffee and a good book, and watching the tide, for those seeking a restful holiday.
Nearby is the riverside village of Golant. Services include a 13th century church, Post Office, small shop and a popular pub with restaurant, and boat launching facilities.
